Feast Of St Jean Baptiste De La Salle

Today, students of De La Salle College celebrated the Feast of St Jean Baptiste De La Salle. We had a wonderful day celebrating a lovely Mass at 10:30am with Rev. Fr. Darach MacGiolla Catháin P.P. of Corpus Christi.
At 2pm we were visited by Rev. Fr. Billy Swann, our priest friend who lived in the Irish College in Rome with other Seminarians and Priests. We asked him a lot of questions and he answered them brilliantly and movingly.

Scotty presents Fr Billy with a gift as a Big Thank You for visiting us on the Feast Day of St Jean Baptiste De La Salle.Thank you Fr Darach for a lovely Mass today. We all enjoyed it.

Prayer Club To Release Eucharistic Congress Hymn

De La Salle College Prayer Club are to release a video with footage of our Prayer Club and our school, De La Salle College. We chose the Eucharistic Congress Hymn 2012 as the music to accompany it. All of the boys in the Prayer Club have been working very hard to have the video ready for the Feast Of St Jean Baptiste De La Salle on Tuesday 15th May.
