Andrew was admitted to candidacy for holy orders on Sunday 29th of January, the day The Holy Father released the doves of peace from the Vatican. We are proud to know Andrew and we wish him every joy, blessing and peace as he prepares for the priesthood. We keep him in prayer daily.

 | On Wednesday, February 1st on the Feast of St. Brigid, students from our school celebrated Catholic Education Week, with a visit from Father Gavan Jennings. He said mass, followed by a talk in the library to our Prayer Club on our Catholic Faith. St Malachy's College Belfast, St Mary's Grammar and St Genevieves joined us. All said it was a great talk and we all enjoyed the morning. A Big Thank You to Father Gavan and Father Peter

About UsHello and welcome to the De La Salle College Prayer Club Website. Every morning we meet at 8,30 for daily prayer and once a month for Mass. You are very welcome to come and join us in prayer each morning in the chapel of St Jean Baptiste De La Salle. We pray for everyone we know, for Our Holy Father we pray for all we know in Rome, we pray for all our intentions and we pray to our Saints to intercede for us. We also go on outings and do fun things and it is all for the Lord. Whether you're new to the school or new to praying, we welcome you with open arms. We love our Prayer Club! We pray daily,and we also go visit people of great
faith who inspire us.
We recently visited the Missionaries of Charity in Armagh. Deacon Ryan came to support us. He was fun and very kind and he will be ordained in July, in Armagh.
We write to and have links with lots of friends in Rome.
We all love Sister Emanuela, she is a sister based in Rome she is in the order of the Missionaries of Divine Revelation, (The green Sisters in Rome).
We love Fr Billy in the Irish College (he is a legend) and Andrew, Dominic,Micheal and Philip are our Seminarian friends.
We pray for them everyday. They were so good to us in Rome.
Deacon Conor is to be ordained this summer.We think he is BRILL and he was our spiritual director in Rome. We are glad Deacon Conor is back with us in Ireland. We pray for him and his mummy everyday.
We pray for the De La Salle Brothers, who are always available to support us in any way.
We are so lucky to have Father Gavan Jennings, he supports us and anything we ask for he helps us with, he is great.
Once a week we read and comment on http://caritasveritas.blogspot.com Father John always replies to us. We all Love his blog! He says it as it is and he speaks the truth.
The Preists in our area are a great support to our school.
We are really excited about our Vatican school Istituto Pontificio Sant'ApollInare. Palazzo Extraterritoriale,Viale Vaticano,42 00165 Roma.The Vaticanos are coming to visit us in March!
